Make Your College Experience Count
Plan your future and stay the course.
Taking the right classes at the right time is essential to successfully completing your degree on time. By meeting with your dedicated academic adviser every semester, you can work together to plan your schedule and make sure all your courses are in order.
Your academic adviser can help you narrow down what you want to do if you’re not quite sure what your major should be. They can also help you maximize your degree by exploring minors, double majors, and double minors that you could earn.

Advisers Are Everywhere
Faculty, staff, and even grad students give great advice.
The best part about going to a school with small classes is that your professors really get to know you. They learn your strengths and your career goals. Then they provide advice and opportunities to help you exceed those goals. NSU faculty are more than teachers—they’re industry experts, ground-breaking researchers and caring mentors who have your future in mind.
Working with grad students and faculty is really helpful. We get a head start on our master's and make some great friendships, too.
