Edward N. Aqua, D.Eng., is the director of the Lifelong Learning Institute. He brings to the position a thirty-year history of accomplishments in business, industry, and academia in the fields of lifelong learning, research, and technology management. For ten years at Tufts University, he directed the Gordon Institute for Engineering Management and was co-founder of the Tufts University Institute for Learning in Retirement. He has also held positions in business such as vice president for operations and vice president for research and technology. Throughout his career, he has served on numerous educational and technology boards, with a focus on the professional development of organization members. He is a graduate of Columbia University (B.S. and M.S.) and Yale University (D. Eng.).

Heike Dosé is the administrative assistant for the Lifelong Learning Institute. She originally comes from Germany, where she pursued a business career for more than 20 years, including with British Airways.
