Gender Studies Minor
The gender studies minor examines the relationship between biological differences and social inequality, explores the construction of sexual identity, and analyzes the variations in gender systems that have occurred across cultures over time. Students will explore the methods and concepts of gender studies in a variety of academic disciplines including film studies, law, literature, philosophy, psychology, and sociology. Students must complete six credits in required courses and nine credits in elective courses. At least nine credits in the minor must be at the 3000/4000 level.
