Through the Division of Humanities students may receive the bachelor of science degree in legal studies; the bachelor of arts degree in American studies, communication studies, English, history, humanities, international studies, and theatre; and the master of arts degree in writing. In additional to offering courses in the traditional classroom setting and online, the division also coordinates internship opportunities and supports study abroad programs.
The Division of Humanities also sponsors a number of events each year, and some of these events, such as the launch of the Digressions Literary Magazine annual issue or lectures given by invited speakers, are coordinated through affiliated student organizations. There are a number of student organizations affiliated with the division, including the Communication Arts Club, Phi Alpha Delta Prelaw Fraternity, the Spanish Club, and Sigma Tau Delta English Honor Society. The division also sponsors a number of other events that are a part of its performing and visual arts programming series.
