Academic Divisions
The Division of Humanities offers courses and degrees related to those academic disciplines traditionally known as the humanities. These disciplines include areas of study such as history, literature, communication, philosophy, languages, and the arts. In additional to offering courses in the traditional classroom setting and online, the division also coordinates internship opportunities and supports study abroad programs. |
Careers in science and technology related fields provide some of the most exciting opportunities for the Twenty-first Century college graduate. NSU's polytechnic or applied, "hands-on" mission allows students to apply the theory they learn directly to real-world applications and projects. This combination of learning and doing affords our graduates a distinct advantage when they apply for jobs--especially in the areas of science and technology. |
The Division of Performing and Visual Arts offers academic programs and organizations focused on the broad spectrum of the arts. Major and minor programs offer theoretical and practical training in art, dance, music, and theatre, as well as in arts administration.
